The 2dF SDSS LRG and QSO Survey (2SLAQ)

The 2SLAQ survey has used imaging from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) and spectra from the 2dF-spectrograph on the Anglo Australian telescope to obtain redshifts for 13,000 luminous red galaxies with 0.4 < z < 0.7 and 6000 faint QSOs. Details of the survey can be found in Cannon et al. (2006) for the LRGs and Croom et al. (2008) for the QSOs and at www.2slaq.info.

Completeness masks

You can find the completeness masks for the LRGs that were used in Wake et al. (2006) and Wake et al. (2008a,b) linked below. They are 2D fits files with 0.008 degree pixels and a simple WCS. The completeness is calculated in regions defined by the overlapping 2dF fields for more details see the papers above.

K+e corrections

You can find electronic versions of the K and evolutionary corrections for LRGs presented in the appendix of Wake et al. (2006) below. These were created using the SSP models of Bruzual and Charlot (2003). Two models are presented one with a instantaneous burst 13Gyrs ago (Passive) and the other with 95% of the stars made in a such a burst with the remainder being formed at a constant rate over the 13Grys (Passsive + SF). For more details see Wake et al. (2006).
