The Level 2 AstroLab is a component of the Research Led Investigation (RLI) laboratory project in our Physics degree in which Level 2 students undertake investigations in observational astronomy using the four telescopes (DRACO2, East-14, Far-East-16 and West-14) on the Physics building roof.
Students undertake a variety of projects which range from measuring the properties of galaxies across cosmic time to studying the properties of binary stars in our own Milky Way galaxy, as well as observing and learning more about our own Sun.
